EFT is a gentle tapping technique based on an understanding of the ancient Chinese meridian system. It is also referred to as a form of energy psychology or psychological acupuncture. There are no needles involved in this procedure. By tapping with their fingertips on endpoints of the meridian lines, also known as energy lines of light, clients can use this easy procedure to clear emotional blockages and long-standing beliefs, allowing new positive beliefs and feelings of well-being to emerge. EFT was adapted from Roger Callahan’s Thought Field Therapy and brilliantly simplified by Gary Craig.
